Many people experience little to no discomfort associated with this procedure, and may return to regular activities soon after. It is important to note that this new skin will be more susceptible to sun damage.

This procedure is commonly performed on the face but may also be beneficial for other areas of the body and has been used to effectively treat acne scars, fine lines and rosacea.
